The Daniel Plan Study Guide: 40 Days to a Healthier Life
How would you like to rev up your metabolism, burn 200–300 extra
calories a day, and get in shape without sweating at all from 9 to 5? Good News! To begin to improve your health and fitness,
you don’t have to get sweaty. You don’t have to put on gym clothes. You don’t have to lift weights or even
get a gym membership. Begin to boost your metabolism, energy, creativity, fitness, and health by performing simple movements
throughout your day. Research proves that performing movements such as standing or fidgeting or lightly stretching, active
games, aerobic activity, or strength training even for just a minute or two every hour throughout your day can make a big
difference to your health and well-being—and combat sitting disease.

Why? The impetus for the
project came from two members of St. Mark, Adriane Olejnik and Mark Karner. Mark was stricken by polio as a child,
and suffered from Scoliosis, diabetes, and congestive heart failure. He went on to become a disability rights activist, helping
over 500 people to get out of nursing homes and back into their homes. Mark passed away in June of 2013, and “Mark’s
Knee Mail box, was dedicated in his memory.

Church marks ‘friendly village’s’ 100 years with
family friendly event
As part of celebrating Worth’s
centennial, and as a way to let more people know about their church, the folks at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church
are inviting the community to what they’re calling an “old-time friendly fair” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
With Worth’s nickname being “the friendly
village,” the name makes perfect sense, organizer Vivian Falcone said. (To continue reading, click the link below.)

Grief Share features biblical, Christ-centered
teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. Too often people, including Christians, tend
to stuff their grief instead of allowing it to do the God-given work for which it is intended. Whether your bereavement experience
is recent or not so recent, you will find encouragement, comfort, and help in grieving the death of a loved one at Grief Share. Coming soon to St. Mark. Watch for dates.

The Story - A Church Wide Experience
Bible Engagement for Adults, Teens and Children
KNOWS YOUR WORTH”
EVANGELIZING THE COMMUNITY OF WORTH
In every community there is a place you see,
pass by, even make a glance toward and for years go on noticing it there, but not sure what roll this place plays. Well, Worth
has one of those shining stars, St. Mark Lutheran Church. I was invited there a little more than two years ago. Now I find
myself returning every Sunday for services. What I have found at St. Mark is a family of people who really care, go the distance
and always put others first ahead of them-selves.
Times are bad and people don’t know what to do or were to go. They are losing their homes, jobs, and
are left alone sick, cold, hungry and just plan afraid.
St. Mark has started an outreach program to reach the people in the Village of Worth. They hope one day to extend this act
of kindness to other communities.
Fourteen members of St Mark have begun to walk door to door to extend a hand of hope and faith. They have knocked
on a least 1,000 doors now and have many more to go. The walkers have met with great people and were asked to pray with many
of those they have talked to, bringing a glimmer of hope to those in need.
So, if you are able to receive one of the knocks on the door, remember they are people meant
for you. Open the door and it will change your life, warm your heart and show you that there are people who care.
All through Gods amazing grace.
